I don’t know what prompted me to resurrect this clock from storage. I was working on cleaning up the part of the garage where the printing press lives. Maybe it occurred to me that “TimePressesOn” didn’t have a clock. Then I thought about what an old-time job shop’s clock might have looked like. I know I’m probably over-romanticizing what things were really like. I know this because the patina on one of our type cabinets includes cigarette burns. Nevertheless, I like to visualize what I would have liked it to be. Nice new Hamilton cabinets, and matching oak furniture, and on old regulator clock ticking away. Once I hung it I figured that I could have Anita cut some vinyl letters on her Crickut cutting machine.
